Italian Villa & Vineyard
Tuscany, Umbria, Puglia — private villas with estate wines, olive groves, and a resident chef who speaks through the food.
High-touch travel with private access, premium stays, and special logistics.
Villa and Chateau Stays at Taro Voyages is an accommodation service covering handpicked Tuscan villas, French chateaux, Balinese estates, and heritage havelis, with private staff and fine dining.
A hotel, however grand, is always someone else's space. You live by their rhythm — breakfast hours, check-out times, lobby traffic, the sounds of other guests. A private villa or château has none of that. It breathes around you, not around them.
We maintain a curated portfolio of exceptional private properties: a 12th-century Provençal château with its own lavender fields, a Florentine villa with a working vineyard and Michelin-connected chef, a Bali estate where monkeys visit at dawn and the valley is your view.
What defines our villa selection: genuine privacy, genuine staff, genuine character. Not serviced apartments dressed up as villas. These are properties where the art is original, the wine cellar is the family's own, and the garden has a story.
We handle every logistic: staff briefing on your preferences, grocery provisions on arrival, activity booking in the surrounding region, and a single point of contact throughout your stay.
The best accommodation is the one that makes you feel like you live there — not like you're visiting.
Tuscany is regarded, particularly through Florence, as the birthplace of the Renaissance. Though it remained a linguistic and cultural rather than political unit through the fifteenth century, Florence extended its dominion across the region by annexing Arezzo in 1384, purchasing Pisa in 1405, buying Livorno in 1421 to serve as its harbour, and suppressing local resistance along the way; from 1434 the Florentine republic came under the increasingly monarchical rule of the Medici family, who presided over the Florentine Renaissance while formally retaining republican structures.
Provence is a geographical, cultural and historical region of southeastern France, stretching from the left bank of the lower Rhône in the west to the Italian border in the east, bordered to the south by the Mediterranean Sea. It largely corresponds to the modern administrative region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, taking in the departments of Var, Bouches-du-Rhône and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence along with parts of Alpes-Maritimes and Vaucluse; its largest city and modern-day capital is Marseille.
The municipality of Santorini includes the inhabited islands of Santorini and Therasia along with the uninhabited islands of Nea Kameni, Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi, Anydros and Christiana, together covering a land area of 90 square kilometres. Santorini itself has an area of approximately 73 square kilometres and recorded a population of 15,480 at the 2021 census, making it the southernmost member of the Cyclades group of islands.

Taro shortlists the right destinations, stays, experiences, routing, and supplier options for this service.
The team refines inclusions, exclusions, quote basis, documents, payment milestones, and cancellation terms.
Travel support stays attached through the journey, with coordination for changes, local assistance, and follow-ups.
Your chef designs menus around your preferences, sources ingredients from local markets, prepares all meals, and is available for cooking classes or special dietary requirements. It's the equivalent of your own personal restaurant, on your schedule.
Many of our properties are licensed for events. We coordinate caterers, musicians, florists, and photographers as part of event planning services layered on top of the villa booking.
Every property in our portfolio has been visited in person by a Tarn Voyages representative. We assess staff quality, privacy genuineness, maintenance standards, and the character of the ownership.
Every villa stay includes a dedicated Tarn Voyages contact who is reachable 24/7. We have direct relationships with all property managers and can resolve any issue within hours.
All our villa prices are for the entire property — not per person. This is why they represent excellent value for groups of 6 or more.
Yes — though we strongly recommend using the private chef. For properties where the chef is optional, we stock the kitchen before arrival with everything you specify.
Send dates, travellers, preferred style, and the level of support you need. The team will return with a practical route and quote basis before any booking step.
