A serious seven-day high-altitude trek through the Kashmir Himalayas, crossing meadows of Sonamarg to reach a chain of turquoise alpine lakes — Vishansar, Krishansar, Gadsar and Satsar — before descending into Naranag. Srinagar to Sonamarg
Drive to Sonamarg, briefing on the trek route and gear check, overnight at a base camp.

Day 2
Sonamarg to Nichnai
Trek through pine forests and open meadows to Nichnai campsite, first views of the high ridgeline ahead.

Day 3
Nichnai to Vishansar Lake
Cross Nichnai Pass and descend to the twin alpine lakes of Vishansar and Krishansar, camp lakeside.

Day 4
Vishansar to Gadsar via Gadsar Pass
The trek's toughest day — cross Gadsar Pass at 4,200m for sweeping Himalayan views, descend to Gadsar Lake.

Day 5
Gadsar to Satsar
Gentler trekking day through meadows dotted with wildflowers to the seven interconnected Satsar lakes.
6
Day 6
Satsar to Gangbal Lake
Cross a final ridge with views of Mount Harmukh, camp beside Gangbal Lake, the trek's most photographed campsite.
7
Day 7
Gangbal to Naranag & Drive Back
Descend through forest trails to Naranag village, drive back to Srinagar for a farewell dinner.
